I caught Rasputin the other night on TCM and had not seen it since it's original theatrical release in the 60's. Lee was so animated, and that great baritone voice of his really carrys this film....

Agreed. I thought RASPUTIN as a film was so weak that it actually made the not-so-great Barrymore film look better - but Chris was indeed very good in the role.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. RASPUTIN was how they should have done Dracula. He is almost more Dracula in Rasputin than he is in Dracula.
